Storyteller 1a a person who incites laughter, inspires you, or makes you want to change your life.

I live in Nelson, British Columbia, Canada. I have a mountain affliction, one I can’t escape. Not to feel alone, I try to pass this affliction on to as many people as I can. My niche lies in the realm of B.C. Mountain Culture—the skiing, mountain biking, climbing, and general adventuring that goes on in this unique, culturally and physically diverse landscape.

I am 32 years old (in dog years that’s pretty old, but I don’t like dogs so I’m okay with it). I have been writing professionally for seven years and am currently a Senior Correspondent for Powder Magazine, BIKE Magazine, SBC Skier, and on the masthead of Explore Magazine. I am a regular contributor to Outside, Blue, Hooked on the Outdoors, and The Globe and Mail. I also have had magazine articles published in Japan, France, Britain and Germany.

While my focus lies in the mountains, my writing has led me to work for corporations like: Rocky Mountain Bicycles, Tourism British Columbia, Electronic Arts, Intrawest Corporation, Scottworks Solutions, Rennie’s Infomedia, and others.
